title: Get started
description: Send your first request, see how the agent reports back and asks for decisions, then set up a shared project, invite people and connect an integration.
---

This page takes about five minutes. You send one real request, then set up the three things a team needs: a project to share, the people who share it, and an integration for its agent.

Your first sign-in had you name your agent and say what it should focus on, and it ended with a first message to Tendo. This page picks up from there.

## Send a request and watch it work

1. **Send a request from the workspace home**

Open the workspace home, the page your workspace's address opens on. In the composer under your agents, type something you actually need done and send it. The request opens a new conversation in [Tendo](/tendo), your own project that only you can see, and the agent starts on it straight away.

2. **Read what comes back**

When the agent has finished, its reply says what it did and what changed, in a few lines. The work itself is already done: the document is saved, the rows are in place, the message has gone out. Open the **Worked for** line on the reply to see each step it took.

If the agent needs a decision from you along the way, it doesn't guess. It asks with a decision card at the end of its reply and waits. Pick one of the card's options, right there in the thread, and the agent carries on.

If the agent can't finish, it tells you what is in the way, such as a missing integration, and stops.

## Set up for your team

Tendo is yours alone. Work you share with other people goes in a project, and each project has its own agent.

1. **Create a shared project**

Press **+** next to **Projects** in the sidebar. Name it after the cluster of work, like a client, a campaign or a part of the company, not after a single errand. [Create a project](/projects/creating-a-project) covers the dialog.

2. **Invite people**

Press **Share** at the top of the project's home page. Enter an email address, pick a role and press **Invite**. Invite anyone who should work in the project as an **Editor**. [Sharing a project](/projects/sharing) explains the roles and visibility.

3. **Connect an integration**

A shared project starts with every app switched off. Connect the account your team uses in the organization's **Integrations** settings, then switch it on for the project, either when Auttendo asks which projects may use it or later in the project's own **Integrations** settings. [Connecting an integration](/integrations/connecting-an-integration) has the steps.

## Troubleshooting

### The agent says an integration isn't connected

The agent can't reach the app it needs for your request, so it has told you the blocker instead of guessing. The reply usually carries a card with a button to connect the app, or to switch it on if it is connected but off in this project. Once that is done, the conversation continues where it stopped. You can also [connect it yourself](/integrations/connecting-an-integration) and ask again.

### My message was refused and a window opened

Your workspace has run out of credits. The window explains why and gives you the one thing you can do about it. Your message stays in the thread, so nothing you wrote is lost.

### A teammate can see the project but can't change anything

On a team-visible project, everyone in the organization can view it, but viewing isn't editing. Invite that person as an **Editor** through **Share**.

### I can't invite anyone into Tendo

That's expected. Tendo is private and has only one member. Copying its link gives nobody access. Create a shared project for work you want to do with other people.
